Midnighters

Always wanted to have superpowers but didn't quite fit the superhero mold? Well, neither do the kids from Scott Westerfeld's Midnighters series set in a small Oklahoma town, but powers they have!

Jessica, new to Bixby, OK, has been having odd "dreams" and a mysterious man has been taking photos outside her home around midnight, when everyone should be tucked safely into their beds.

Finally making friends with Jonathan, Melissa, Rex, and Dess, other kids with unusual abilities, Jessica begins to understand her "dreams" and become aware of the dangers surrounding her and the other Midnighters.
